Contraindications :
Do not take in pregnancy. Long-term use of echinacea can cause a resistance to the sugar molecules in the cell wall of the herb. and a reduction of effectiveness. Also, some believe the immune system should not be constantly stimulated. General recommendations are to take for a period of time and then stop for a while (for instance, 8 weeks on, 1 week off).
